Why Modern Ninjutsu?
Headmaster Will Maier has over 50 years in the personal protection field and is the Founder and CEO of the International Modern Ninjutsu Federation. He has been featured nationally on CBS, ABC, and NBC ("The Today Show,") and internationally on CNN. Will's biography appears in various editions of "Who's Who." His school was also featured as "School of the Month" in Black Belt Magazine. Will was inducted into the International Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2002. He has a book, "Secrets of Modern Ninjutsu" and 9 DVDs on his extraordinary approach to this ancient art. His latest book, "Truth + Love = Peace" details his philosophy on life. Will is surrounded by an eclectic group of dedicated, affiliated teachers whose common goal is to constantly update classical Ninjutsu to serve the needs of our modern times. Modern Art, Modern Instruction
Training in Will Maier's Modern Ninjutsu is conducted in a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere, encouraging students to assist each other's learning. The small class structure promotes attention to your individual needs in a confidence-building environment. While training is realistic, it is safe and physically and mentally stimulating. Physical limitations are not restrictions because we "fit the art to the student and do not force the student to fit the art." Students, ages 12 and up, are taught to use the least force necessary to protect themselves in various situations and to avoid any violent altercation if possible. At the same time, you will learn practical techniques to defend against a myriad of attacks from grabs strikes, and weapons, such as clubs, knives, and firearms.
